Alamo Wing helps deployed Airman present flag to trainee wife

Airman Basic Trisha Kelley, 331st Training Squadron basic military training trainee, displays the American flag and commemorative certificate that were presented to her during a flight formation at the 331st TRS headquarters building, Sept. 22, 2011, at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. The flag, presented as a surprise, was a gift on behalf of Airman Kelley’s husband, Senior Airman Justin Kelley, who is currently deployed to Southwest Asia. The flag was flown over Lackland AFB, Sept. 19, aboard a C-5A Galaxy assigned to the 433rd Airlift Wing. A commemorative certificate accompanied the flag. Wounded Warriors enjoy laughing at Leno's humor

Wounded Warriors and their guests enjoyed the Jay Leno's, "Tour for the Troops," performance from a reserved seating section, Aug. 6, 2011 at the base operations hangar at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. “It was good to see the wounded warriors there laughing, forgetting their pain even if for a few minutes,” said Chief Master Sgt. Emil Garza, 433rd Airlift Wing command chief master sergeant. The performance was also part of the Refer a Friend Tour, under the “Get 1 Now” program, an Air Force Reserve Command recruitment initiative designed to encourage reservists to find potential new recruits among their peers. Michael Chapman, 433rd Security Forces Squadron member, guards the stage while comedian Jay Leno performs an hour-long comedy show for more than 2,000 people who attended the, "Tour for the Troops," event hosted by the 433rd Airlift Wing, Aug. 6, 2011, at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. New blue rope for 433 TRS

Lt. Col. Todd J. Weyerstrauss, 737th Training Group deputy commander, presents, Tech. Sgt. Teela Brown with a certificate of recognition commemorating her accomplishment of becoming a master military training instructor.
