The Fulbright Program offers grants to qualified Turkmen graduate students to study at the graduate level in the United States. Turkmen scholars may apply to conduct post-doctoral research at U.S. institutions and are eligible for Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Grants. In addition, students and teachers are also eligible for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program.

The Fulbright Program offers grants to Turkmenistan for U.S. scholars to teach or research through Fulbright. In addition, U.S. scholars are eligible to apply for the Fulbright Specialist Program. Currently no opportunities exist for students in Turkmenistan.
