There are many campaigns that is running everywhere. Now it’s not that people don’t wanna join such programs. But it’s just the time they all start thinking about it.
It would be great if you could do the same thing with the audible environment. e.g. I bet that aircraft noise is now much worse than in the 1970′s. Here is a map of flight routes, note how you cannot even see the ground below the flight paths in many areas: http://openflights.org/demo/openflights-routedb-2048.png (from http://openflights.org/data.html). There are very few places on earth where you are not exposed to noise from human machines.
Here is a good starting place for more info: http://www.acousticecology.org/wildlandbiology.html
I think everything is louder now. The sheer number of added cars and jets is mind boggling. When you live or work near a busy road, the sound of passing cars becomes a new sort of really loud white noise.
There must be so many opportunities for photos, especially showing out of place wildlife and with architects making housing from shipping containers and old jets, there must be a big junkyard full of these things. Let’s get out those cameras and start snapping away!

Thank you for the information. Hopefully you can provide more information.
Documerica is going to show quite the contrast.
Your project looks exciting. I will follow it and hope you get your message out. I was stationed at nearby Fr. Leonard Wood many years ago and remember the pristine water and shoreline of Lake of the Ozarks, MO…
