Scammers target businesses with fake FTC email

That email claiming to be from the FTC saying your business has complaints against it? It’s not from us. It’s a malicious hoax that may install malware on your computer if you click on it.

What should you do?

Delete it.  Don’t open it.  Don’t click the links.

But there is a link you can click safely. It’s OnGuardOnline.gov, the federal government’s website to help you and your business stay secure online.  Find out more about how to protect your system from malware and steps to take if you think your computer is infected.
