Rota romps to another lopsided victory

NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain – K.C. Mason ran for one touchdown, passed for a second and fell on a fumble in the end zone for a third score Friday night to propel the defending European Division III champion Rota Admirals to a 44-0 courtesy-rule victory over the Alconbury Dragons.

Cody Holland hauled in Mason’s 45-yard TD pass and also fell on a Dragon fumble in the end zone in the game which was called at halftime by the 39-point courtesy rule.

Ramon Quijano also found the end zone for the Admirals, who improved to 2-0 going into this Friday night’s game against visiting Menwith Hill. Alconbury (0-2) returns home for a Saturday non-conference game against the Woodham Warriors of the English league.
