Meet Laura Anderson, Owner of Local Ocean Seafoods

March 9, 2012 - Making smart seafood choices begins with knowing as much as you can about the product and making an effort to support sustainable fisheries. As our nation turns the corner on ending overfishing, we want to recognize the daily challenges facing U.S. fishermen and local businesses that depend on a steady supply of safe, sustainable seafood.

This month, as we launch FishWatch, a website that provides the most up-to-date scientific information about U.S. seafood, we feature Laura Anderson, owner of  Local Ocean Seafoods—a popular seafood restaurant on the waterfront in scenic Newport, Oregon.
