FY 13 GAS COUPONS ON SALE SEPT 26
NATO forces gas coupons for FY 13 will go on sale Sept. 26 at Navy Exchange outlets and will be valid from Oct. 1, 2012-Sept. 30, 2013. Current coupons will be accepted by AGIP and ENI dealers through Sept. 30. Old coupons can be returned for a refund within 90 days of their expiration date.
APPLIED BEHAVIORAL ANALYSIS TRAINING SEPT 26-27
Applied Behavioral Analysis training for Naples area parents and providers will be held Sept. 26-27 at the U.S. Naval Hospital on Support Site. Register by calling the FFSC at 629-6372.
JFC OKTOBERFEST SEPT 28
The 10th JFC Oktoberfest will take place Sept. 28 at JFC headquarters in Bagnoli from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. Tickets cost $5 or €4 for NATO ID card holders, and $6 or €5 for non-ID card holders. Tickets can be purchased Sept. 26 at JFC and Sept. 27 on the Capo spine. Entrance is free for children up to 16 years old. For more info, visit www.oktoberfest-naples.com.
MWR/USO PRESENT: ALEX TREBEK & JEOPARDY! CONTESTANT SEARCH OCT 6
Do you have what it takes to be on Jeopardy? Several producers of the hit game show, along with Mr. Trebek, will host a contestant search test for interested service members and spouses Oct. 6, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Naples Elementary School. Also at the same time at the elementary school, the Jeopardy! team will host a “Brain Bus” (Just-for-fun game of Jeopardy!) open to anyone age 4 +. Please note: The “Brain Bus” is the only event open to everyone. U.S. ID card verification is required for the contestant search test (18 yrs +). For more info, call 626-4894.
NAPLES RACE FOR THE CURE OCT 7
Italy is looking for American runners and walkers to participate in the Race for the Cure Italia event that will take place Oct. 7 in downtown Naples. The race will start at 10:00 a.m. in Naples’ Piazza del Plebiscito. Registration costs €10 and can be done online at www.raceforthecure.it. USO is providing bus transportation that will cost €5. You must register for the bus prior to Oct. 7, and will need to present a receipt to board the bus.
GREAT SHAKEOUT EARTHQUAKE PREPAREDNESS EXERCISE OCT 18
The Great Shakeout exercise is scheduled for 10:18 a.m. on Oct. 18. Please register yourself and your family at www.shakeout.org/italia/index.html for survival tips and other emergency management information. The event will be composed of an earthquake drill followed by two separate information sessions held at the Capo Piazza and the grassy knoll outside the Support Site TLA. SUPPORT SITE FUELING STATION CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE
The Support Site fueling station is temporarily closed for a fuel tank conversion. Work is expected to be completed within one week. The fueling station at Capo is operational. Please plan accordingly.

Sept. 28: Sushi Night. All-you-can-eat Sushi dinner at a fantastic Japanese restaurant in downtown Naples.
Sept. 29: Beer factory tour. Tour one of the most popular microbreweries in Benevento, St. John’s Brewery. Explore the factory, sample a few of the brews and enjoy lunch in the charming town of Faicchio.
Sept. 30: Guided tour of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius. Enjoy two of Naples’ most memorable sights in one trip!
