All DoDDS Japan District schools have activities and clubs available for students. Clubs and after school activities vary from school to school and from year to year; they are dependent on school staff who act as club sponsors. Athletic Associations

M.C. Perry High School and E.J. King High School are members of the “Western Japan Athletic Association.” Yokota High School, Nile C. Kinnick High School, and Zama High School are members of “Kanto Plain Association of Secondary School Principals” (KPASSP). The purpose of the organization is to establish standard procedures and to promote cooperation among the various English speaking schools in the inter-school activities throughout the Kanto Plain. In addition to athletics, KPASSP supports fine arts, and other activities as well.

DoDDS Japan Hosted Activities
The Japan District is a proud and active partner in local communities through special events such as:

  • Foreign Language Festival
  • Sumo Wrestling Exhibitions

The district hosts numerous Far East activities including athletic championships and the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium in Tsukuba “Science” City, now in its 31st year.
