K West Basin simulator
CH2M HILL constructed a replica of teh 125-foot-long, 20-foot deep K West Basin at the Maintenance Storage Facility to simulate radioactive sludge-filled conditions so equipment can be tested and operatores trained in a realistic yet radiologically hazard-free environment.
