Attorney General Eric Holder addresses attendees at the 45th Anniversary of the Community Relations Service. The Community Relations Service is the Department's "peacemaker" for community conflicts and tensions arising from differences of race, color, and national origin.

Roger Wilkins, who served as the 2nd National Director of CRS, from 1966-1969, was on hand to celebrate 45 years as the "nation's peacemaker." CRS was established by the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
