Technology TransferThe National Security Agency has established a formal technology transfer mechanism for openly sharing technologies with the external community. Our scientists and engineers, along with our academic and research partners, have developed cutting-edge technologies, which have not only satisfied our mission requirements, but have also served to improve the global technological leadership of the United States. In addition, these technical advances have contributed to the creation and improvement of many commercial products in America. NSA has identified valuable advanced technologies in the following core areas, which are available for sharing:
Because NSA has exacting standards, you know that each capability has been tested and used to satisfy mission requirements. You can rely on the combined expertise of the team who developed these applications for use in the most demanding solutions. As a part of this effort, the NSA Technology Transfer Program (TTP) Office has created Technology Profile Fact Sheets, which describes technologies available for transfer. Click here to find out more about the Complete Technology Transfer Program. The NSA TTP Office works with businesses and investment partners to commercialize NSA technologies. At a minimum, businesses interested in interacting with the TTP Office will need to present general information about their executive management and advisory teams, industry focus, and performance history (track record). They shall also provide technology specific information about the potential area of collaboration, value proposition, customer base beyond NSA, execution strategy, and anticipated revenues. Investment partners will additionally provide information about their Board of Directors, type and size of investment fund(s), and performance metrics relating to successfully building high growth technology business ventures. If you are interested in exploring any of the technology opportunities contained on this web site, please express your interest to the: National Security Agency |
