Reducing benefits based upon a spouse's pension not covered under Social Security

Is my Social Security retirement or disability benefit reduced if my spouse receives a pension based on work not covered under Social Security?

The Social Security retirement or disability benefit you receive based on your own earnings under Social Security is not reduced if your spouse receives a pension based on his or her non-covered work.

In addition, if you become eligible for your deceased spouse's pension based on non-covered work, the pension will not affect the Social Security benefit you receive based on your own earnings.
