Be In CHARGE! Child Manual


Description

Be In CHARGE! (Behavior Intervention for Change Around Growth & Energy!) is an intervention that combines behavioral strategies and nutrition information to increase the energy intake and growth rates of children with cystic fibrosis. The intervention utilizes a group treatment approach in which children and parents attend separate group workshops.

This Child Manual and the accompanying Parent Manual are designed to be used by health professionals in leading group interventions for children with cystic fibrosis and their parents. The Child Manual provides information and tools for leading a series of nine weekly child group sessions, including group management strategies, goals and key learning points for each session, and guidelines for group activities.
