Location #5: Columbia River

From 1973 to 1974 photographer David Falconer documented the states of Oregon, Idaho and areas in southwest Washington. He gave us images of a tugboat hauling logs and houseboats nestled on the Columbia River near where Interstate 5 connects Portland, Oregon, with Vancouver, Washington.
Back then, the riverside town of Cathlamet boasted a population of 656 – so what do these places look like today? It’s up to you and your camera to show the rest of us.

How long after a location is posted, can you still use the images? Cathlamet is a 4 hour drive from my home but I pass near there when I go to Portland on business. Would be fun to see what’s changed….
