Norwalk, Connecticut

Greater Norwalk, Connecticut released their strategic Ten Year Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness last spring.  Their plan is fully aligned with the goals of Opening Doors and outlines specific action steps that Norwalk and surrounding towns should take to accomplish the goals of ending homelessnes subpopulation by subpopulation through the utilization of best practice strategies.  The plan includes details on data measurement and accountability as well as specific goals, action steps, best practices, and strategic priorities.  The plan was developed through a collaborative approach with input from leaders from many fields including multiple levels and departments of government, homeless service providers, non-profits, the private sector and national advocacy organizations.
