AWARDS PROGRAM

Safety awards enhance Army operations and improve safety awareness through recognition and promotion of individual and organizational accident prevention measures and successes. Timely, accurate and public recognition of deserving units and individuals reinforce accident prevention efforts, increases safety awareness and enhances a positive safety culture.
PROGRAMS & POLICIES FORMS
Programs & Policies Icon AR 385-10, (The Army Safety Program) and DA Pamphlet 385-10, (Army Safety Program) prescribes policies, procedures and qualification standards to implement the Army Safety Awards Program. Augmentation of the Army Safety Awards Program with local safety awards is encouraged. Forms Icon Department of the Army Form are available through the local DOIM or publications officer. Sample Forms are provided for your use in tailoring certificates to accommodate your individual organizational needs.
 
RECIPIENTS CONTACTS
Recipients Icon The following organizations and individuals contributed significantly to reducing and/or preventing Army accidents and are recognized for their efforts. Receipt of a safety award does not preclude an individual for receiving a military award as described in AR 600-8-22 or an incentive award as described in AR 385-30.
