Master's in Education, Special Education - Early Childhood and Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (ECIS) License Option is for students who have already earned certification/licensure in Early Childhood Education or K-12 Special Education. Applications are accepted throughout the year. Majors in this program are prepared to teach young children with disabilities, between the ages of 3 to 8 years, in a variety of settings where services are provided to students requiring specialized interventions to experience success in the education environment. Successful completion of the program as well as specialized Praxis II exams leads to recommendation for the Ohio Department of Education's Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (ECIS) teaching license
