National Fire Academy Launches New Course for Training Officers
21st Century Training for Fire/EMS Training Officers helps organizations implement new methods, technologies and safety measures
The National Fire Academy invites fire and Emergency Medical Services training officers to apply for pilot offerings of our new course, 21st Century Training for Fire/EMS Training Officers (P0354). The offerings are scheduled for Sep 8-13 and Dec 1-6, 2013 at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, Md.
NFA developed this six-day course to help fire and EMS organizations improve training skills and move training programs into the 21st century. The course promotes ideas for change and innovation and teaches how new methods, technologies and safety measures can be integrated into a local training program. Students will learn how to justify and market these changes as return on investments to the senior staff in their organization, including the fire chief.
