Clever Crazes for Kids: Toolkit for Educators

Description

Clever Crazes for Kids (CCK) is a Web-based wellness program for children, ages 6 to 12, that uses animation, competitive games, valuable information, and educational challenges to help students increase daily physical activity, adopt healthy eating habits, maintain positive self-esteem and strong character, and develop environmentally friendly habits. The program is designed to be a safe and fun place for young people to learn more about healthy living.

CCK provides educational entertainment and uses self-selected avatars to model behaviors essential to healthy physical, mental, and character development. A series of games and educational challenges enable students to learn while competing with each other in four themed environments: nutrition, fitness, self-esteem, and sustainability (green living).

This toolkit for educators provides more information about CCK, instructions on how to register their school and students, and several promotional fliers to encourage participation in the program.
