Access to and successful completion of a college education has never been more important. A college education opens up unlimited possibilities and helps students to discover and foster their unique gifts. It also demonstrates that students are willing to make an investment in their own futures. However, for many young people this investment cannot become a reality because they are unable to afford the rising cost of college tuition. For students, we manage an array of scholarship programs.
Since 1985, UNCF has awarded more than $600 million to more than 44,000 undergraduate students enrolled at more than 900 colleges and universities across America. UNCF also administers career-building opportunities for students such as internships, mentorships and leadership development.
