Ban 100 Organizational Rules adopted
February 6, 2013

The NH Banking Department has, pursuant to RSA 541-A, adopted Ban 100 Organizational Rules effective January 24, 2013. The rules can be found on the Laws, Rules and Guidance Page.

Interest Payable on Escrow Accounts Announced
January 28, 2013

The escrow rate for the period February 1, 2013 through July 31, 2013 is 0.00%.

Mortgage Loan Originator - New Hampshire testing requirement to change on April 1, 2013
January 22, 2013

As of April 1, 2013, the New Hampshire Banking Department will no longer require a separate New Hampshire specific test for newly applying Mortgage Loan Originators.  Applicants will be required to take and pass the new National SAFE MLO test that will include a uniform state component.  Additional information is available from the CSBS.
