FLETC Advanced Training Programs (Fee Based)

The FLETC’s Office of State, Local, Rural, Tribal and Territorial serves as the liaison to state, local, campus, and tribal law enforcement officers who would like to attend FLETC’s Center Advanced Training Programs. These programs normally charge tuition fees and most are held at FLETC training locations. These locations are Brunswick GA, Artesia NM, Cheltenham MD and Charleston SC. The availability of seats in these programs may be limited.

Registration

FLETC releases seats in these training programs on a “space-available” basis. Once you submit the completed registration request, we will place you on the waiting list for the class that you request, or for the next available class. Please be sure to provide your email address on the registration request form. When a seat becomes available, you will receive a confirmation email, approximately 30 – 45 days before the training begins, or when a slot becomes available and the class is confirmed to run.

To apply for the next available class, please complete the registration request form located at the link at the bottom of the page and use the “submit” button on that form to return it to us.

Subsidy Assistance

Depending upon the availability of funds at the time you attend, the Office of State, Local, Rural, Tribal and Territorial Training (SLRTT) may subsidize the cost of this training for state, local, campus and tribal law enforcement officers. This subsidy assistance is dependent entirely upon availability of funding. It is not necessary to specifically request this funding; if it is available you will automatically receive it. Once you are accepted into a class, you will receive an email confirmation that will inform you of the amount of subsidy assistance, if any, that may be available.
