Off Base Training in Civilian Environments
Considerations when conducting domestic off-base training and exercises in civilian environments:

MARADMIN 472/02 requires that all commanders and other personnel responsible for training and/or exercise coordination make liason with senior level officials from all state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies who have jurisdiction over the prospective training areas. To assist commanders in conducting the required coordination for off-base exercises and training, the Inspector General (in coordination with HQMC staff) has developed a catalogue of considerations. Although this catalogue is not all-inclusive, it provides the commander with much of the information nescessary to effectively plan and conduct such training.
