MIssion
To provide quality, efficient, and timely administrative support to the Divisions within the Office of the Inspector General of the Marine Corps.
 
This support includes the following primary activities:

  • Maintenance of the Functional Area Checklist Management and Processing System (FACMAPS) to support the significant role of Marine Force Commanders and their subordinate commanders in mission and combat readiness by providing current tools for those organizations to identify, measure, and correct potential deficiencies in targeted areas.  The ability to provide updated information to the entire Marine Corps will improve the mechanics of the inspectable areas for more efficient and smooth operating activity.
  • Constant and timely promulgation of temporary additional duty order writing, budget reconciliation and management, and other general administrative support to permit moment notice response to developing issues requiring Inspector General action.
  • Information technology (IT) support, supply and open-purchase requirements for processing senior official investigations and hotline activities, coordination and documentation of staff training requirements, and processing expeditious and routine correspondence in support of readiness assessments, formal inspections, official reviews, and credentialing.
  • Provide firm, fair, and dignified leadership throughout the Division to promote personal development and professional achievement.
