Below Normal Temperatures and Snowfall in Upper Midwest

Below normal temperatures continued throughout the Midwest region this past week, with the largest departures 9°F to 16°F below normal in northwest Minnesota. A few different snow events brought above average snowfall to the upper Midwest, 6" to 12" above normal in some cases. See more details in the March 17th edition of the Midwest Climate Watch.
