The 2013 NAEP reading assessment will be administered to students at grades 4, 8, and 12 in the winter of 2013. Results will be released in the fall of 2013. A nationally representative sample of 213,100 fourth-graders and 168,200 eighth-graders participated in the 2011 reading assessment. At each grade, students responded to questions designed to measure their reading comprehension across two types of texts: literary and informational. Reading Results
