This year, World Food Day recognizes the important role of agricultural cooperatives in improving food security and contributing to the eradication of hunger.
Cooperatives and producer organizations can help smallholder farmers to better and more sustainably feed themselves and their families by generating employment, increasing access to agricultural services and inputs, and expanding market linkages.
