Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Tammy L. Heiser joined the USO team in 2010 and is responsible for developing and overseeing all aspects of global human resources functions. Previously, she served for 13 years as the vice president of human resources of General Physics Corporation in Elkridge, Md., where she directed human resources for the consulting firm of more than 1,800 employees. This included creating and implementing recommendations for new programs, benefits and training; facilitating talent recruitment and retention; and serving the human capital needs of the company.
Tammy, a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), earned a Bachelor of Science in business from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She also holds a Master of Science in international business from Johns Hopkins University.
