        SEC to Announce New Enforcement Division Director

What:  Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Arthur Levitt
       will conduct a news conference to announce the appointment
       of the new director of the Division of Enforcement.  The
       current director, William McLucas, announced in January
       that he would depart the Commission after two decades of
       service.

When:  Wednesday, April 8, 1998; 11:00 a.m.
