133rd Airlift Wing Headquarters GroupThe 133rd Airlift Wing Headquarters Command Post Staff provides for the command and control of all assigned and attached units to accomplish and support worldwide United State Air Force and State of Minnesota requirements for the tactical airlift of troops, cargo, and medical patients anywhere in the world, as well as to support any other State or Federal mission requirements for which the wing may be tasked.

The 133rd Airlift Wing Maintenance Group is responsible for the maintenance of eight C-130H3 aircraft. These cargo aircraft provide tactical airlift and airdrop missions all over the world in support of in-place and deployed combat operations. Peacetime activities include humanitarian missions, training and providing well maintained, highly mission capable aircraft for tasking.The Maintenance Group consists of:
- Maintenance Operations Flight
- Maintenance Squadron
- Aircraft Maintenance Squadron

133rd Airlift Wing Medical GroupThe mission of the 133rd Medical Group is to ensure that personnel of the 133rd Airlift Wing are medically qualified and prepared for flight duty and worldwide deployment. This unit provides medical services supporting unit wartime tasking, state emergencies and natural disasters. The Medical group consists of:
- Medical Support
- Medical Operations
- Aerospace Medicine
- Dental

The Mission Support Group commands all the Wing units that support and accomplish federal and state requirements for the Wing. The Mission Support Group consists of:

- Logistical Readiness Squadron
- Aerial Port
- 210th Engineering Installation Squadron

To support any other higher headquarters tasked mission within our unit's capabilities. To monitor standardization of all flying and support unit assets and operating procedures. To insure units maintain an environment conducive to safe training activities. The Operations Group consists of:

- 109th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron
- Airlift Control Flight
- 208th Weather Flight
