As of Thursday, December 1, 2011, the American Center Korea (formerly known as the Information Resource Center) at the U.S. Embassy, located at 10 Namyoung-dong, Youngsan-gu, has now open to the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. [Full Text]

The American Center Korea (ACK), the U.S. Embassy’s reference and research provider, delivers information about U.S. policy and society to the Korean people.
Our goal is to provide specialized, accurate and authoritative information about the United States to Korean institutions and professionals. Materials in the ACK cover key subjects about the United States: its government, economy, society, culture and people.

A monthly discussion forum which is American diplomats and interested Korean youth sit at the same table, voicing honest opinions on contemporary issues facing the U.S. and Korea.
