NONPOINT Releases the Official Video for “Frontlines”

Ft Lauderdale hard rockers NONPOINT have unveiled the official video to their new single, “Frontlines.”  Inspired by the bravery of our military, lead vocalist Elias Soriano explains, “When I wrote the concept for Frontlines, I wanted to make sure the focus was on the commitment of what our soldiers do for us. The weight they carry, and the intensity they hold steadfast to protect people they don’t even know.”

“I say this with as much meaning as I could possibly have,” says Soriano. “God bless the men and women of our military, and thank you for allowing me to be what I am, and do what I do. Every single one of you are the reason I’m free to do so.”

NONPOINT will be donating proceeds of the digital single sales of “Frontlines” to the USO and Soldier’s Angels foundations.  Watch the video below and  then click here to purchase it today!

Papa Roach Breaks Away From European Tour to Perform Two USO Concerts!

“The band is extremely happy to be back in Europe touring and is honored to break away from our European tour to visit troops and deliver a USO concert. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do everyday if it weren’t for our men and women in uniform and their families, who sacrifice a lot for us to live out our dreams.” – Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix

Papa Roach and Dear Superstar broke away from their European Tour last week to perform USO Concerts at Aviano Air Base and U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden.  Over 1,400 Airmen, Soldiers and military families enjoyed the USO/Armed Forces Entertainment concerts; the Germany performance was broadcast by AFN-Europe to 56 countries including the Middle East, the Balkans and Africa.

Currently the bands are continuing their tour throughout Europe, and are scheduled to perform 21 concerts between mid-July and Aug. 15 in 11 European countries.  Check out more photos below!

Brother Clyde Brings Bliss to El Paso

“Any chance I get to break away and express my thanks to our troops and their families – whether it be through a song, a visit or a trip overseas, I am there. And my trip to Fort Bliss is no different.  I am thrilled to be in El Paso and honored to be performing before our nation’s true heroes.” -Billy Ray Cyrus

Multi-platinum recording artist Billy Ray Cyrus and his rock n’ roll revival BROTHER CLYDE brought their show to thousands of soldiers and military families at Fort Bliss with a 75 minute USO concert on July 25.  During their time on post, Cyrus and fellow members of BROTHER CLYDE mingled with troops and Cyrus also performed some of his most memorable hits like “Achy Breaky Heart” and “Some Gave All.”

This trip marks the second USO tour for Cryus, who visited and entertained more than 7,000 troops stationed in Afghanistan, Iraq and Germany in December 2009; this was first the USO appearance for BROTHER CLYDE.  An avid supporter of America’s armed forces, Cyrus and his daughter, Miley, invited dozens of military families to a studio taping of Disney Channel’s hit show “Hannah Montana.”  They then surprised each guest with an invitation to take part in filming a concert scene for the show and a greeting to their loved ones stationed abroad.  Cyrus’ latest project, the rock n’ roll revival known as BROTHER CLYDE, will release their self-titled debut CD in August.

Papa Roach, LIVE in Concert Today on AFN!

Multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated Papa Roach will air their USO/Armed Forces Entertainment concert at U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden in Germany LIVE tonight on AFN-Europe!  The band is taking a break from their current European tour to entertain Troops and their families; they also performed alongside rock n’ rollers Dear Superstar at Aviano Air Base in Italy earlier this week.

Tonight’s live broadcast be air on American Forces Network’s Freedom channel, and is scheduled to start some time after 8 p.m. CET, which will allow troops in Iraq and Afghanistan to watch the show, AFN officials said. Troops and Department of Defense civilians around the globe with AFN decoders should also be able to see the broadcast.
