The Facilities and Infrastructure Division serves as the focal point for SC Facilities and Infrastructure policy, planning, and performance. SC operates 10 national laboratories that together have over 1,800 operational buildings and real property trailers, with 20 million gross square feet of space. The Division provides technical and subject matter expertise on Facilities and Infrastructure management including the mission readiness assessment process, sustainability, excess facilities demolition, and facilities information. The Division also serves as the Management System Owner of the SC Facilities and Infrastructure Management System within the Office of Science Management System (SCMS).
