NWS Newport/Morehead City to host Scout Day 02/08/2013
The Newport NWS is hosting a NWS Scout Day on April 20,2013. The event will begin at 9:30 am and end at 4:30 pm. All scouts are invited to attend this event which will provide an opportunity for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts to learn about weather, and emergency preparedness while completing many of the requirements for weather, water and emergency preparedness related badges.
