Pat Roberts Intelligence Scholars Program (PRISP)

Pat Roberts Intelligence School Scholars Program (PRISP) is demand-driven and complements the hiring requirements of the Directorate of Intelligence (DI).  Eligible candidates are student interns who have served at least one internship in a DI office or center, have expressed interest in converting to full-time staff, and have management's concurrence for the conversion.

Background.  PRISP began in FY 2004 with an allocation of $4.0 million. The purpose of the Scholars Program is to hire highly qualified college graduates with specific critical skills and either pay for a portion of their undergraduate education, or pay for their graduate level education in the critical skill areas needed.

Goal. The goal of the program is to assist the IC’s efforts to hire highly qualified analysts with critical skills that the labor market was not readily providing.
