Roy A. Wallace - Deputy Chief of Staff Personnel G1

Mr. Wallace was selected for the Senior Executive Service in December 2004. Since that time he has served as the Director, Plans and Resources, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-1, Headquarters, Department of the Army. In this position he was responsible for programming, budgeting, and justifying of all military pay (Active, Guard and Reserve), and executing resources for the Active Army Manpower Program, which encompasses the largest appropriation in the Army. He is also the Army representative to the Office of the Secretary of Defense 2-Star Steering Group for the development and fielding of the Defense Information Management Human Resources System.

CAREER CHRONOLOGY:
• Apr 2004 – Dec 2004: Chief, Military Personnel Division, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller. Army's lead on Military Personnel Appropriation (MPA), budgeting for a $27 billion annual budget.
• 1978 – 2004: U.S. Army (Retired at rank of Colonel.)
