Commerce Under Secretary to Present Student Awards

First ©®EAT Awards Recognize Kids Innovation

Washington, D.C . - Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Jon Dudas will be joined by David Fink, president and CEO of the National Inventors Hall of Fame (NIHF), on July 13 to present the first awards for the ©®EAT contest sponsored jointly by the USPTO and the NIHF.

©®EAT is a contest and classroom guide based on invention and problem solving for students in grades 2-12. The symbols in the contest name represent its emphasis on patents, trademarks and copyrights.
