Welcome to CompassLive, the new interactive venue hosted by the USDA Forest Service Southern Research Station, where we’ll feature the latest information on the work we are doing across the 13 Southern states. In addition to news about the accomplishments of the Station’s scientists we’ll spotlight new and archived journal articles, general technical reports, and other publications of interest. We will also provide access to “Science You Can Use” fact sheets and articles that provide direct assistance to land managers and videos that bring our research to light. As CompassLive progresses, we’ll  include reports and photos from the field about our numerous outreach activities.
