Maxwell Elementary/Middle School Principal

Welcome to Maxwell Elementary/Middle School, home of the Eagles! My name is Robbie L. Swint, Jr., and it is truly an honor to serve the students and community as the new instructional leader of Maxwell Elementary/Middle School. The faculty and staff at Maxwell Elementary/Middle School are devoted to developing a good relationship with our parents and the community to ensure the quality of our students’ educational experiences is successful.

I am coming from Shughart Elementary School in Fort Bragg, NC where I served as the Assistant Principal. My beautiful wife, Natasha and I have been married for 14 years and we have four children: Robbie, III (Trey-son) 8th grade student, Rayna (daughter) 7th grade student, Ramia (daughter) 2nd grade student and Rylin (son) five-years-old. I am a Georgia native and a military veteran (US Army) of 15 years. I am eager to begin working with an exceptional Air Force Base Command. Our common bond will be the glue that allows us to work in harmony to support and encourage your child(ren), so this will be their best school year ever.
I believe an education is a very influential tool for our students as we begin to prepare them to compete globally. I believe each child is endowed with his or her own individual capacities and characteristics, and Maxwell Elementary/Middle School, to the best of our abilities, will provide each child with the kind of education best fitted to him or her as an individual in preparation for the 21st century. My approach will be centered on working as a team to make educational decisions for our students at Maxwell Elementary/Middle School. I live by a simple motto: “It is not how you start, but how you finish.”
