"All soldiers must enroll for Environmental training through their Schools/Training NCO! Schools/Training NCO will enroll soldiers using DTMS or Troop Schools Application."

"IAW FH 200-1, sm must be in the rank of SSG and/or above to serve as the ECO. Commanders, directors, managers will appoint, under orders, an Environmental Compliance Officer (ECO) to administer an effective environmental program. ECO MUST complete the environmental compliance officer course within 60 days of appointment orders and must complete the refresher course NLT 90 days from certification expiration date."
