Foreign Liaison Office
MISSION STATEMENT

The Foreign Liaison Office (FLO) serves as the principal Marine Corps point of contact for the Corps of Foreign Military Attaches assigned to embassies in Washington, DC., for requests for information, visits to Marine Corps commands and installations, and support to foreign visits. Enhance military-to-military relationships via hosted events such as parades, balls and tours of Marine Corps facilities. Ensure information released conforms with US foreign disclosure regulations.

TASKS

  • Respond to Foreign Attaché inquires for Marine Corps information on doctrine, tactics, training and equipment.
  • Track and support Foreign Visit Requests.
  • Process and approve foreign disclosure requests for release.
  • Host a Sunset Parade, a pre-Birthday Ball reception, several capability exercise (CAPEX) visits and other events as requested by the CMC or DIRINT.
