It is unnecessary to adopt the proposed regulations mandating audible and
tactile warnings for every intersection controlled by a traffic light. Doing
this is too costly with limited public dollars.
These devices are also misleading and may pose more hazard for blind and
visually impaired pedestrians. They will give a false sense of security to the
traveler and may hinder their hearing of vehicular traffic while using the
information from these signals.
Please reject regulations.
