2009 Iowa Ragbrai

Cycling across the state of Iowa is an annual event involving bicycle enthusiasts from around the world. RAGBRAI (Registers annual great ride across Iowa) began in 1972. Many teams and individuals travel great distances to participate in the event. This years event will be held from July 19th to the 26th. Cedar Rapids Flood

Flood waters fill the streets of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, June 13, 2008.The Iowa Air National Guard mobilized by the state to help with flooding in Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Des Moines, Iowa. Brown Memorial 1

The dedication ceremony for First Lieutenant (1st Lt.) Warren Brown at the Sioux City Airport, in Sioux City, Iowa, on 14 July, 2008. 1st Lt. Warren Brown Memorial 3

First Lieutenant (1st Lt.) Warren Brown's memorial is located in front of the Sioux Gateway Airport terminal to the right of the Bud Day statue as pictured in 2005.
