Embassy Offices and Agencies
The United States Embassy in Ottawa is home to a number of offices from within the Department of State, including:
- Public Affairs;
- the Information Resource Center;
- a Press Office;
- an Economic Section;
- a Human Resources Office;
- a Cultural Affairs office; and
- a Political Section
In addition, the Embassy houses offices from across the rest of the United States Federal government, including:
- the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service
- the U.S. Commercial Service, for U.S. companies interested in doing business in Canada
- the Department of Defense's Security Cooperation & Partnership Division
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection
- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
- U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.)
- Foundation for Educational Exchange Between Canada and the United States (Fulbright Canada)
- National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center
