The Treasury Check Information System (TCIS)

System Requirements

Non-Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Requirements

To access TCIS via the extranet, a User ID and Password are required. This method capitalizes on an existing trusted network-to-network connection between the Agency and HROC.

Browser Capabilities Internet Explorer 6.0 and above
Operation System Windows 2000 and Windows XP
Graphics High performance video graphics card (w/2mb VRAM); only required to view check images
Printer DeskJet or LaserJet quality printer with minimum 4MB RAM (8mb preferred); LaserJet quality is recommended for agencies printing high volume or check images
Cookies Must be enabled
Screen Resolution 1024 x 768

PKI Requirements

To access TCIS via the internet, a User ID and Password are required which are contained on a fob (PKI credentials).

Browser Capabilities Internet Explorer (IE) 6.0 and above
Operation System Windows 2000 Service Pack 2, XP (Note: 2000 or XP are preferred because both support a USB port. Note: Windows 98SE and NT will not be supported)
Hardware Pentium III 500mhz; 128mb RAM; 20mb free hard disk space - Java Plugin and DataKey CIP utilities (will be provided); 2x CD; One free USB port (for fob to be provided)
Java Plug Sun JRE 1.3.1_08 to 1.5.0_06 (within range, JRE will be provided if not already loaded on browser)
Screen Resolution 1024 x 768 pixels

Minimum Hardware Requirements for Accessing the Computer Based Training (CBT) CD Rom of the Integrated View and TCDOMS

Sound Card and Speakers In order to use the audio portion of the CBT, a sound card and speakers are needed. If no sound card/speakers are available, the CBT can still be accessed for the video portion of the training.
