Health IT: How are you Putting the “I” in Health IT™
Introduction

Welcome to the official HHS, Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology Google+ page.

We are focused on raising awareness about the importance of health information technology (health IT) and electronic health records (EHRs) for both providers and patients. We want to start and build a dialogue between users, advocates and the curious about what exactly Health IT is and how it can lead to safer, better, and more efficient health care. We also will point you towards the right resources whether you are a provider looking to reach attestation or a patient or family member looking to get the latest information on electronic health records.

We hope you use this page as an informational tool, as well as a space to interact and meet others interested in the subject of Health IT. We also encourage you to visit our official website at: www.HealthIT.gov.

Before you begin, here are a few guidelines:

What not to post:

  • Graphic, obscene, explicit or racial comments
  • Disrespectful or abusive comments or comments intended to defame anyone or any organization
  • Solicitations or advertisements for your Website, services, or organization
  • Comments or photos that suggest or encourage illegal activity

Comments and posts that do not follow these guidelines will be deleted and maybe blocked from the page without notice.  Please be respectful, kind, and considerate of others.

You participate on this Google+ page at your own risk, and take personal responsibilities for any information you provide.  The posting of external links on this page does not constitute official endorsement on behalf of ONC.

Please feel free to message us if you have any questions and we will try to answer them in the order they are received.

Thank you for visiting! We look forward to hearing from you and learning more about the ways you are putting the “I” in Health IT™.
