The following example illustrates how a simple programming change can make animated content more accessible.
Part of the screen below cycles among eight different news stories, displaying a new story every three seconds. The stories change so quickly that screen reader users would not be able to locate and read the content before new content appeared on the screen. To make this screen more accessible, controls have been added in the lower right hand corner to pause the animation and to allow the users to move forward and backward through the stories.
