2012 U.S.-China Smart Grid Dialogue
Dates: June 28-29, 2012
Location: Shenzhen, China
China's current Five Year Plan anticipates over $43 billion in smart grid investment between 2011 and 2015. To facilitate this investment, USTDA is sponsoring a Smart Grid Dialogue in partnership with China's National Energy Administration (NEA) and the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). The dialogue will serve as a technical, policy and commercial forum to discuss smart grid standards and policy, distribution, generation, state-of-the-art applications, communications, control and management systems. The event will also feature smart grid vendor exhibition and one-on-one meetings between business and government leaders. A site visit to smart grid facilities will be hosted by China Southern Grid.
Advanced Engineering Associates International (AEAI) is serving as technical contractor for this activity.
