Brookhaven Logo Usage

The Correct Usage of the BNL Logo - The following examples picture correct and incorrect use of the Laboratory logo. If you need assistance in using the logo, contact Rick Backofen, (631) 344-6183 for assistance. The size of the logo can be changed if necessary and only in rare occasions should the colors be altered.

Correct Usage

The following examples picture correct use of the Laboratory logo.

Correct logo for web pages at standard size.
The logo may be converted to black and white.
Correct logo for web pages at standard size in reverse format.
The logo may be converted to another solid color only in rare occasions in order to make it stand out.

 

Incorrect Usage

The following examples picture incorrect use of the Laboratory logo and
should not be done.

Do not recreate the logo using another typeface.
Do not alter the proportions of the symbol in any way.
Do not embellish the logo in any way or change the color.
Do not change the spatial relationship between the symbol and the logotype.
 
Do not change the orientation of the symbol.
Do not place the logo on a disruptive background. Be sure there is adequate contrast to ensure legibility.
Do not animated the logo.
