Narrow roadways and parked vehicles created an obstacle course for 201st RED HORSE Squadron heavy equipment operators tasked to remove debris Sept.
12-16, 2011 in the Harrisburg area. Members helped with flood cleanup after a hurricane and tropical storm wreaked havoc on the tristate area. Working in narrow
confines, they hand-loaded the debris into buckets.
The 201st RED HORSE Squadron, Detachment 1 activated 44 members to assist state and local authorities with clean-up efforts after the onslaught of devastating rains brought on by Hurricane Irene and remnants of Tropical Storm Lee. The series of storms substantially impacted the central region of Pennsylvania.

The Joint Incident Site Communication Capability (JISCC) kit offers a unique dimension of connection and information transfer. The demand for real time crisis management communications for federal, state and local authorities increases at the speed of technology.

Members of the 111th FW participated in a Navy integrated training exercise (ITE) at NAS Joint Reserve Base Willow Grove Oct. 9.
